Continue for procedures with low surgical bleeding risk.
Withhold for procedures with moderate to high bleeding risk, including neuraxial anaesthesia or neuraxial catheters insitu.
Timing dependent on renal function:
eGFR >/= 50ml/min: Stop 48-72 hrs preop.
eGFR < 50ml/min: Stop 72 hrs preop.
Recommence
48-72 hours post op.
6 hours after neuraxial anaesthesia or removal of neuraxial catheter.
