Unless there is an established infection, Endocarditis prophylaxis is NOT routinely required for:

• Bronchoscopy or intubation.

• ERCP, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, oesophageal dilatation.

• TURP, cystoscopy, urethral dilatation, hysterectomy, vaginal or caesarean delivery.

• Insertion or removal of intra-uterine device.

• Cardiac procedures including catheterization and insertion of stents.

• Routine urinary catheterisation.
